Hi There CC Members.

I always find it interesting how we perceive the way we play as opposed to how others see us or interpret our playing styles.
What i mean by this is to ask you as a player - do you consider yourself passive, loose, tight or aggressive or a mixture of some of these styles.
Here are some social media clips explaining some of these player types and the associated actions, it would be interesting to hear your views on how you see yourself here..

Its also interesting to see how Professional players view each other, there is nothing more interesting sometimes than using a great teaching tool i often employ with my learners - namely peer assessment.

A good post i recently came across described TAG players perfectly..read this below

So which one are you? Or are you a special player with a brand new unque style that does not fit in with any of the suggestions made...ME? Passive Aggressive :)

I look forward to reading your views and be honest !

In a cricket team there are 11 players. Some of them are batsman and some of them are bowlers. Batsman job is to bat and make runs. He knows very little about bowling. Similar is the case with bowlers. They are expert in bowling but not with batting.

However, there are players who are capable of batting and bowling both. These players are called all-rounders.

Good poker players are just like all-rounders. Passive or aggressive, tight or loose, they can play all styles of the poker. And i try to play that way. No fixed style of play.

I have my own system.

Rezus
Makak
Schimpanze
Gorilla
Ape
Australopitec
Neanderthal
Homo Sapiens
Homo Sapiens Sapiens
Bond, James Bond
Mr. William Henry Gates III
Reptiloide

Works better for me and my friends than tight/loose passive/aggressive donk/fish and so on.
It's the same story with different words, cause I like to feel myself like i'm a alien predator at some wild safari in time machine against human species, while normal gradation gives you a feeling that you're a fisherman on a boat, with all the "ship it, shark, tuna" Plus it's more fun when you're feeding a schimpanze with your chips, always puts a smile on my face:pcguru::congrats:

If a game passes for me in a tournament, then I play passively, but it happens that when the stakes are high in a tournament, I can play aggressively on good cards or pairs in order to recruit more chips for the next game!

Been labeled a TAG type player. Normally will adjust my play with chipstack, where I'm at in the tournament and table dynamics.

When you reach a certain level, it doesn't matter what style you play. The main thing is to play correctly based on your knowledge base.

I would love to say TAG since everyone say its the best I try to play like that but after a session or so I end up being a nit/rock and after I get tilted LAG or LP , I still have to work a lot on my game if I wanna have any success tho.
