Will have to check this out if they sell it in uk :) looks good is it dedicated to poker or just has poker scenes?

It's dedicated to poker. There are numerous pros in it. I need to re-watch it. It's a comedy if I'm remembering correctly...

Yep, it's a comedy. Fun fact - the final table wasn't scripted. They had the actors play the game for real and nobody knew which character was going to win.

Oceans Eleven. The entire cast was stellar. Loved the high stakes ;)

Rounders, no question.
And while its TV, not a movie, I'd throw a strong second to the first few episodes of Deadwood. Great poker scenes, especially involving Wild Bill Hickok.

The Stu Unger flick is pretty good. Makes one think about how good some poker player were at one time. Maybe they should make a movie about 60's and 70's card playing on the Strip in Vegas. A good card movie is hard to come by. Rounders was well All around good. Maverik was good until they played it too many times on the movie channel.

It's my personal favourite. I think the scenes with Drew Barrymore turn a lot of people off it, but for my money it's probably the most realistic depiction of the poker world and the degenerates that inhabit it that's ever been put to film (yes, that means I think it's better than Rounders :p).

I would say it's a tie between Rounders, The Sting, & Maverick
