the tracker shows me that I've won a lot with aces and lost a lot with dozens.

ATs KTs are really bad for me. I also know better now to dumb AA's if I get them twice in a row. The second hand is always a loser.

We have all been on the wrong end of countless pots, but if you could summarize every single hand you've ever played, what hole cards have cost you the most money and why do you think it's that hand?

It's hard to calculate, but I think it was AA, KK, QQ and AK.

It's a toss up for me, either AK, which seems to never find the flop and I end up with some low straight draws, which of course my opponent has. The other is KK, you know if the Ace doesn't hit the flop and you go all in, that damn river is gonna drown ya!!! And maybe I manifest the ACE, I don't know, as I am yelling at my computer, NO ACE, NO ACE!!! Bam there it is. Grrr, sometimes I hate this silly game.

:js4::jc4: busted by QQ. Decades ago, I flew to Macau & bought in on an APT event. Its most I've spent on poker though it turned out to be a good vacation. :)

I couldn't say the specific hand, but it was probably in some action where a set over set situation occurred.

Very difficult to escape.

Small pairs, brought me the most disappointment. There was a period when I was even afraid to play with pairs like twos, threes, fours or fives. Now I already have an understanding of how to act in certain situations, but before I often suffered losses with such cards.

Hello. Perhaps one of the correct answers would be - I lost the most with bad hands. But after reading the comments, I understand that it's not so straightforward. It's difficult for me to pinpoint a specific hand, as I've lost with AA, KK, and other top pairs - the reason lies elsewhere. Sometimes on the preflop, it's hard to resist playing a strong hand, forgetting that every hand has fold equity and style equity, and you don't want to make the right choice. Ace-high and JQ are two combinations where I lose more often than I win.

I am not 100% sure but my guess is AK. I have tried so many times to knock players out when they shove all-in with Ax and I snap-call with AK and then they suck-out on me. It is supposed to be one of the best starting hands, but at then end of the day, it is just Ace high.

AQ
I probably just lack experience, but with AQ, I often have a problem, I lose quite often with this hand :(

Now this is a very good question. ;) I like it. After checking my database it seems that I loose more with offsuit hands, but in my case the most I loose with QT0 and after that JTo.

QTo

I need to do something about that :)

I don't use any tracker anymore so have to go by memory and common sense.

1. If you count the times you get a free flop with some garbage hand in the Big Blind and then have to fold it's the usual suspect of unsuited low no connectors.

2. If you mean hands I actually pay to play it's probably speculative hands that I complete "cheap" in the small blind like Ax and unsuited connectors.

3. Outside the blinds it's almost certainly a decent unsuited connector like 89 or T9.

If I only have to pick one (outside the blinds) that I either raise or call with in some often odd button situations I choose 89off.

Without a doubt has to be AK, it is such a pretty starting hand but seems like it is always getting beat by small pocket pairs.
A better question might be what position do you lose the most in, for me it defending my big blind.

For me, this hand is the QQ, because I have been eliminated at the final table of several tournaments with this hand right before the given tournament started to pay really well.
And in addition to all of these, this is probably the hand with which I was knocked out of tournaments the most times before the ITM.
