I would say KK, AQ (suited and offsuit) and medium sooted connectors like 109s, 98s,etc.

Just yesterday at the final table of the 500$ Monthly Platinum the small blind open-shoves with AJo, I call from the big blind with the cowboys, an Ace on the turn, and from the 2nd place at the moment I pridefully go home for pizza....

But, anyway KK is a real monster. You have to play it aggressively, especially at the freerolls and microstakes.

I think that JJ is one of the most difficult hands played in a 2.20 tournament, because many pay low hands and end up beating you.

In PKR, about 10 years ago on the final table we were four. I was leader and entered all in with A10. Was called wifh AJ, and after fhat finished 4th with 630$. 1st position was over 1500$. I still remember those A10.

Lost the most with JJ; I always find myself playing it, and no matter how I approach it, I almost always end up losing. It's my curse, haha, can't seem to avoid it

According to PT4, the biggest losses come from pocket Kings...

99 When I'm with this pair I always lose or lose to the villain who is with them. When 99 comes to me I always automatically discard it

This is really a great question and I have been thinking about what the hand would be. I would say the hand that has cost me a lot would be poker Kings over the years.

Why Kings? It's one of the hardest hands to play in my opinion. Kings can be a trap hand in my opinion. Let's say we are early in a tournament. We raise and get 3 bet, we are happy to get int in but if we 4 bet and get 5 bey or worse Jamed on what is the right play? While we could be way ahead of them, we could also being deep trouble as well. We all have seen it happen and they have pocket aces. If their supper deep, what hands could they have? Aces Queens maybe Ak? The problem is preflop we really can't fold this hand without one hell of a read but there is also a really good chance we are in deep trouble as well.

Then there is the flop. SO we call or just get called. An Ace comes out about 22% of the time. So, let's say we trapped with kings. They c-bet, we can't just fold can we. Yes, they may have an ace, but they could have QQ or some other hand we are beating. Now let's say they called us. Many times, we c-bet and they fold but what if they call? Do they have the ace or a draw or what?

So why did I pick Kings? I think I have lost more with them than any other hand for the reasons above. While other hands are weaker, they are also easier to fold. Take pocket Jacks to 8's for example. You could have 2 or more cards over your hand. When people are 4 and 5 betting their hands, we can easily fold them pre flop if we believe they are behind and with so many more bad flops we are less likely to call down 3 streets of bets or betting all 3 streets.

Just my thoughts anyways.
Very nice but it seems like it could be more scary, no big card comes in and a moron puts you down with hands like: 49,38,2 10... it's frustrating and often.

with jj and small pairs, that teaches me that I should not commit pairs against connected cards on the board.

We have all been on the wrong end of countless pots, but if you could summarize every single hand you've ever played, what hole cards have cost you the most money and why do you think it's that hand?

When there were freerolls with streamers on American Cardroom, I made it to the final table. I had a decent stack, but the chip leader simply went all-in with an open-push, having an Ace-Jack. I called with Queens and got knocked out. The flop was very favorable for me; I even had a flush draw, and I was stronger overall. One of his Aces didn't suit him because I would have had a flush. He only had 2 outs for a win, and he won; an Ace came up, which suited him.

I don't track, but it must be AK, I overplay such hands time to time. Also other strong hands like JJ-AA.

I have always had problem with pocket kings...I pretty much only play freeroll and one day i won a 55$ ticket for the super 55$ bounty and almost at the begenning of the tourney i got KK i raise got rereaise and so on until were both all in and he open AK.Flop and turn were clean and then river came a devastating Ace from space :(.

Its like i always remember that hand since it was my first big spot for a bounty and maybe negative energy bring negativity but i lost so many huge pots with KK vs Ax or against a smaller pair that each time i get it i cringe a bit knowing that im not gonna fold it but theyre probably an ace queen waiting for me to call to hit an ace on the flop :D

Good morning everyone, despite being a profitable player, the hand that lost the most money is AKo, this in cash games, because it is not profitable to play with top pair 100bb deep, it is a hand that made a lot of mistakes, I played 3bet 100% of the time and the villains only remain in the hand with trips of 2 pairs and when they hit A or K they put all the chips in the pot.
The hands that made the most money are pairs, hitting trips against AK, AQ, AJ.

JJ I didn't win with it, and I didn't win as well with JJJ, and I lost several rounds, I was in very advanced positions and I wasn't betting on it anymore.
