What I like the most is that it is a democratic game, it gives chances to everybody, of course the skill counts more than luck, but still give chances to everybody, including beginners
The best thing about poker for me is in the winning & outsmarting your opponents. The thrill of winning lasts for days with me. Also in poker you meet new people and make new friends.
The best part about poker is winnings. Big winnings and titles. I wish I knew what that is... And the worst parts of it are badbeats, regulars, rake, re-buys, endless late registration, 30k max players tournaments, river.
it's nice to win especially multi-table tournaments in a few thousand people, even if not won a prize, and flew on the bubble, it is still nice to know that you're better than a couple of thousand other players, and you have room for improvement
No feeling quite like the Final table. Especially in big tourneys with hundreds of players. To see everyone reading each other and making their moves never gets old.
I was a competitve athlete for many years. Lost interest, stamina, and strength, in that order. Now like poker for the same competitive nature of beating other players, it gives me satisfaction.
I like that there are so many situations you can just keep learning! You can play as seriously or as casually as you want. The adrenaline of a good sweat and the relief of your hand holding. There is so much to love about poker!
I like a good bluff,
when the opponent lose thanks to a my successful tactic,
when I won the tournament,
when compressed heart and adrenaline in the blood ...
And anyway, I love poker!arty:
