What do you do with your winnings?

I cash out maybe 4 times per year. Sometimes only $100 , other times more than $1k. But never anything big , still waiting for that big win.

A few years ago I travelled to Las Vegas from Europe, I paid the flight and hotel with my poker winnings. So that was around $1500. It covered my costs in Vegas , but I did not win anything there so returned broke lol.

And how would you enjoy yourself? What would you do with the winnings? Go out for dinner? Buy an expensive bottle of wine? Buy a playstation game? Pay off a loan?

I usualy split it 50/50 50 for my bankroll and 50 for me to enjoy myself

I recently started doing this after having some success in my game. I generally advocate for keeping money in roll to grow it. BUT at same time if one isn't able or ready to beat the next stake level or buy in level it can often feel like you're spinning your wheels and not seeing any growth or movement. So part of it is for motivation and part of it is simply because we're in uncertain times and it would be nice to have a few extra dollars in my life "roll" from a hobby that can pay you back. It's also about risk management.

I started taking about 50% of the amount OVER what my roll was at when I last withdrew; this way I leave some in there to grow the bankroll but also take some out. Of the money I take out I invest some, save some, and rest goes into my checking account. For tournies I'll take maybe 30-40% out of a big win (top 3 finish or over $1,000 prize) and spread it the same way, then next withdraw follow the 50% rule if I'm up.

I don't know if I'll always do this moving forward as things can change but that's my plan for now.

When I finally make some money in a room I withdraw it and help with my household expenses and I try to cover my needs as much as I can, even though playing micro this becomes extremely difficult

As for me, it is better to play on weekends, as there are more suitable tournaments, especially free ones, on different rooms. and after winning tournaments, you can move on to more serious tournaments.

Lately, I have been using to go out and enjoy life but when I was playing poker daily in university, I would reinvest with a % taken out for living expenses. I did blow about $5k on a trip to Singapore but who is to say that was blown and not wisely spent on vacation

Currently just building bankroll from 2$, Once I hit 50-100 I wanna cashout and buy something. I mean playing is cool and all but even if you are small winner you gotta cashout something to feel the money you won even if it's small amout to let's say buy a pizza and call friends.

Mostly i paid out to my bank account and then i use it for living my life, the rest is invested in such things
with good rates because banks doesn't gives good rates no more.
