Poker uniform ( random T shirt+hoodie). In most casinos it's cool inside so the hoodie helps. No glasses unless it's the final table of some big event. You also need a lucky card protector so that your JJ holds against AK in an all in preflop.

I love to be comfortable especially if there is a chance I am going to be sitting for long periods of time. JEANS is a definite NO NO! I love basketball shorts or sweats, sweatshirt or t-shirt. If I am getting off work and decide to swing by the poker room, then of course I am in work attire, but I don't expect to be there for 12 hours either.

Hi guys. I was just whizzing through social media and saw a variety of images and videos of people playing poker, both live and online, and I got to wondering whether any of you guys had your very own standards of what to wear when you play poker........ both live and online.

Do you dress for the event?

Do you wear poker themed clothing? I.e. do you wear you CardsChat merchandise clothing, or some other favourite item of clothing that you think brings you luck or makes you feel part of the event, or gets you into the mood or frame of mind to play poker?

I guess it’s more interesting to know what you do when you play online as generally you will be in the privacy of your own home!

Looking forward to see what you guys do!

Thanks

BB

I've always felt that it's important to feel comfortable, and to also be proud of how you look.

For me the best outfit for a poker session is a sweat suit, it keeps me warm, it keeps me comfortable and it keeps me clean. I also like to having a matching hat and shoes (white is my go to color) so that I just have an aura of intentionality around me.

When you take the way you dress seriously and put thought into it, on a subconscious level people assume that you will take other things more seriously (like your game) and thus pay you respect... which equates to profits on the poker tables!

I also rep my sponsors "Float Toronto" and of course my Training Site "Gripsed.com" on my patches... and if I'm lucky... maybe one day I'll get to rep a cardschat patch too if I reach ambassador status

Here's to using my 'one time' on something that really counts! :star:

Live, you can might consider how others dress, but online, make sure you are as comfortable as possible. You do not want to be distracted by tight clothes for example

It will be good if at least something is dressed, otherwise someone will come, but not to tear yourself away from the game

Hi the ALL CardsChat Community! I think in this question need try a golden middle...
I mean, if you play in the alive, this means you sit for table with another persons,
and important that for table was a normal playing environment, that nothing annoyed and
interfered in the Game for the ALL. Therefore, and the clothes on you not need irritate
another players, sitting for the table. Naturally, this regard the ALL participants.
The play in online this is, of course, another case, if you especially a one in your house.
In this occasion can to put on the any clothes... But in this case your clothes need to be
a maximum comfortable exactly for the Game, and for anything more!:cool::D

Something forgettable. I do enjoy wearing my pile of "I knocked out a pro" t-shirts from the full tilt days.

Friend, these players who wear different clothes from the usual, are professional players who have sponsorship, but there is also those who superstitiously wear weird clothes

I like to wear hoodies because they are gangsters and cool wear.
Like a provincial guy the others my clothes are sport tracksuits.

what to wear

At home it's usually a housecoat, not really appropriate for the tournament scene
