Since us USA players have been limited on where we can play now,I sure hope CardsChat has the ability to get some freerolls and buyins on others sites that are USA friendly.
If we games at least on 1 more site like Cake/skins,it would make it a whole lot better for us.,and prolly even bring in more members.
Even if it was on wildside or a doyles skin,even tho I dont care for them much.
I look forward to the Cardschat Carbon freeroll each week tho!,Id like to see at least 1 more somewhere tho!

Well I guess places like this has not point since we have noting to disscus.
Was a fun ride. Guess its time for us to take what we learned here and start playing live.

There's noting stopping us from dominating live games. It's a lot more expensive but its a investment. But I say this fourm can become about live games and share tips and strategy. Should not let a thing like this ruin the bond we have. And in this tough time we gotta pull through. For the people making a living time to take it live.

Online poker was my favorite hobby And now its taken away.

I don't know the full story of course. Are people thinking these charges are just being used to justify the US government shutting down major companies in an industry it clearly disapproves of?

I do agree even in the US online poker is far from over, people will just migrate to other sites, and by doing so yourself, you speed up this process, and put this mess behind you faster. The only way this will kill poker over there is if everyone reacts by giving up!

I take offense to the "sarcastic,arrogant canuck" statement as I am also Canadian.

There are alot of Americans on this site who are very personable and respectful of others and then there are people like you who give decent Americans a bad name.
If you really don't care what someone has to say then don't comment on responses that offend you.
BTW, there are sarcastic, arrogant individuals all over the world not just in canada.

As for the OP, as it has been mentioned before, there are still alot of US friendly sites you can play at.
I also had read in another thread about how the US government may just be looking out for it's citizens as poker may be ruining lives of many, but it is my personnal opinion that this is BS because you do not see the US government banning alcohol, as I think that ruins more lives, but the government makes to much tax dollars from alcohol to ban it but don't make tax dollars off of online gaming, so hence the banning.

I use to go to the casino alot to play until I found online gaming and it is my personnal opinion and experience that I have spent far less money playing online than playing live and if all those who have realised the same thing, then maybe you should all bring this up with your respective governers or heads of state and tell your story of how online gaming has saved your pocketbook and lives.
Just my opinion on the US banning of online gaming, hope the banning will be lifted soon as we all know the charges of money laundering are all trumped up and the real reason is the US government just doesn't like the idea they are not getting a share of the pie.

CArbon poker for one is asom. Dont give up on online poker. There was a recent article in which said many of these sites have grown more than 25 percent in the past weeks. Anyway I found this place after getting kicked of pockerstars.. thanks for reading
