Hey CC. I am fairly new to CC and really haven't been posting a lot but am going to start and hopefully make some friends a long the way. Ok the past few days have been really had for me. I made a post about a week ago on how I have grind my way up the micro stakes to the .05/.10 from .20 and some fpps. At one point my BR was 350+. On this particular day I had received some bad news within my family. I really shouldn't been
playing but my thinking was that it will take my mind off the current situation. Well needless to say I wasn’t in the right mind state to be playing solid poker. I lost a hand, full house to quads and thats what put on tilt somewhat. Than was dealt pocket K's on the button raise a started 3.5x the big blind plus a bb for every limper. I make it .60 cents I get one call in mid position. the flop comes J 4 6 rainbow. I bet 2/3 pot and get a call. The turn is a Q. I check, he checks. The river comes a 4. I bet 1/3 and he push’s all in at this point it only cost .35 more to see so I call to see a fullhouse 4's full of J's. In all reality I should have given it up on the river but was some what tilted from a pervious lost. After that I was totally tilted to the max. I decide to make my money back by jumping up a level and getting it back in a few hands. I continues to play really bad so what do I do jump up another level to the .25/.50 nl HU and lost my whole BR. I had left myself like 3 dollars and some Fpps. As I review my hand histories and just everything in that day. I was able to see that I shouldn’t have been playing at all because I was upset to start with and just in a really bad spot mentally. So I was already set up to fail. Hopefully someone can learn from my mistake. I really didnt play at all yesterday and just started to play again so i will be rebuilding my BR once again but this time am not just going to tilt all my hard work away like that again.
Here is a screen shot of the damage at first. Also i used Fpps into a tourney and unregistered for the 11 tourney dollars as you can see in the bottom left.
Here is a screen shot of where I am currently at right now.
I have a blog out that i just started check it out and every sunday i will post the weekly graph on how i did that week. I will be playing mostly cash games but with play some tourneys as well.
