I agree with everything said above, but one thing you should for sure try to do is move down to 0.10/0.25 or even 0.05/0.10 until you become a better play and get more hands under your belt. I'm really interested to see what your bankroll is that you're playing $1/$2. It should be AT LEAST 20 times your buy-in to that table. Not only is tightening up a must for you if you want to be a better player, but you also need to have proper bankroll management if you want to continue to even try to get better without going broke first.
