So if I deposit $200 I'd get $80 in bonus (meaning 800FPP)?

So on Stars, however, once you reach a certain level you get a FPP multiplier right? That helps unlock the bonus faster?

No, the multiplier doesn't count towards clearing the bonus. Stars' wording is always a bit confusing. When they speak of "base FPP" they mean VPP, i.e. unmultiplied.

Ah I see. So just play a butt-load and you'll get your bonus. Pretty much how it works everywhere. I was planning on moving the BR over to stars anyways, so just going to do it now to take advantage of the bonus. See ya on stars guys.

Can you withdraw the money and still get the bonus? If you don't clear all the reload by the 180 days are you credited what you cleared?

I only clear 331 VPP or $17 this year at $5 NL. It seems like you'd have to play non stop to clear anything more then $25-$50 in 1 year at $5 NL

Yeah, it's almost impossible to clear a bonus at 5NL. 10NL, you could do it, but you'd have to play A LOT.

I'm still grinding at 25PL, so I'll be taking advantage of this bonus. At least a couple hundred worth anyway.

Do you really have 180 days to clear this bonus? Usually they give you 90 days, has that doubled as well? I also play 10NL, so clearing bonuses takes a while, and having more time to do it would be great.

it's not a catch. I'll get those base fpps in the next 180 days anyway so it is literally free money to me. But even those who don't, they say the terms beforehand.

It also says every qualifying deposit gets an entry into a tournament? What is that tournament ticket worth and what is a qualifying deposit?

Who cares, since winning a 180 $4.40 sng, I've been sucked out on more times than sailors on a Halifax pier. Lost the friggin works plus a further deposit. I accept with pokerstars being the highest traffic site on the net that suck out occur, odd it happens to me all the time.

From my numbers, you'll need to play a little under 21k hands to clear a full $240 bonus, which comes out to a boost of 1.15 PTBB/100. Not sure what rake is at that level.

Checked my PT database. At 50nl on FTP, I'm only getting about 0.94 PTBB/100 through rakeback, so it looks like this PS bonus is really worth playing there for a while.

Since I've only managed to get 600 FPP this year I suspect I'll probably deposit $50 to get the $20. I'm sure sometime in the next 180 days I'll manage to get 400 FPP.

Don't really need the money in the account but I guess $20 free makes it worthwhile.

Maybe I should switch to underfunded $50NL rather than the $10NL.

Checked my Poker Tracker database. At 50nl on Full Tilt Poker, I'm only getting about 0.94 PTBB/100 through rakeback, so it looks like this PokerStars bonus is really worth playing there for a while.
From what I gather, the rake is higher att FullTilt to begin with, so not only is the "rakeback" higher with the bonus, but the rake itself is lower making the difference even more significant.

At 50nl full ring the rake is identical on FTP and PS. 5% capped at $3. The only difference comes when you get shorthanded. PS caps at $2 when there are 5 players are less, while FTP only does so for 4 players or less. But since I play fill ring, it's not relevant for me.
