I do think they will pay our money back, and i am certain that we will get them by next year. Btw i dont think taking a screenshot of ur cashier will serve that much of a evidence since u can do amazing stuff through photoshop nowadays. The fact that they are still into business make them responsible to return the money!

I think that FTP would pay out if they could. I don't know how much was taken by the DOJ. I was under the impression that this money was frozen from payment processors (3d parties). I may be wrong on that. I know that you can withdraw if you have never deposited. Don't raise that red flag to FTP, they might decide to change the policy to save some money. If they do get the go ahead to release funds, I would hope they would pay each player at least a portion of their bankroll, especially if they are under-funded. It would go a long way to keeping the site playable for the rest of the world.

I am sure FTP will get the money to us, it's just going to take time.
UB/AP is working with the DOJ to unfreeze bank accounts to get the players money back, FTP may have to do the same thing.

This goes to show that pokerstars is the best at online poker and fulltilt is very poorly managed.I really dont feel bad for them until fulltilt shows alot more concern about usa players getting paid. The recent silence from them is not a good sign to me..

As mentioned above, if the UB cheating scandal taught us anything it's that poker players either have very short or very selective memories. If Full Tilt ever makes it back into the US market, as long as there's action there'll be players and few people will care what happened in mid-2011.

To be honest, if Full Tilt somehow came back to the US market I would probably keep most of my BR off of Full Tilt but I would still play on it because my most profitable game were Rush SNGs

Didn't UB end up paying the scammees back though?

There are still some who claim they haven't been paid in full but regardless, whether or not they paid the scammees back is irrelevant. They wouldn't have paid anyone back if they hadn't got caught.

The things already was bad, after today..
I seriously hope that FT come back. First, because I'm still waiting for a cash out for 21 days now. Second, because, unfortunately, FT was the second best poker room out there.

Yeah, I kind of got screwed too. But I don't think all hope is lost for folks with BR or limbo funds on Full Tilt. Full Tilt still has a huge presence/name and arguably the best poker software ever created, so there is some value in it if an investor gets the right kind of deal to buy the company and turn it around.

I don't think we'll be seeing our bankrolls anytime soon, but I think there's a decent chance we will get paid at least a partial amount of our bankrolls sometime in the future.

At this point, with recent developments, I think we may be having to wait for a bankruptcy hearing to determine when folks will get money. If that occurs, I am of the belief that all money will be lost except to those with large bankrolls. Even then, those "high-rollers" will probably only be able to expect a small % of their bankroll after FTP's credtors get paid off.

What will happen to the ~60mil. that didn't go through on US deposits? Will FTP get these funds back? We saw a couple of posts here on CC where JoeBlow deposits on FTP but the money never comes out of his acc't (where they then ask, 'should I just leave money in that acc't. & wait to see when it gets taken out?.. or should I just close that acc't.? etc.etc.)... have also seen some of these on other forums. Heard on a podcast that there could be upwards of ~$60mil that is in limbo like this. Will FTP get these $'s?

No I don't think they will. The new investors will have to cover the $60 mil + the $160 mil in player balances.

That's if one deposited and then lost all their money.

If someone deposited $200 and it wasn't take from their bank accounts, and now they have like $500, FullTilt could just take $200 out of their player balance.

But most of the people lose all their money so there will probably be 40-50 mil or so that the investors will have to cover.

IMO

It is almost like a qq vs. ak situation. I feel it is a 50-50 tossup. I see pokerstars paid out my funds and AP/UB is not paying so far, FullTilt is somewhere in between the two it seems. Maybe they will refund half of our funds, lol.

I think that if FTP is planning on staying in business (outside the U.S.) they will have to get us our money.
Do you really think the rest of the world's online players would trust FTP if they didn't?

It IS going to take a LONG time (their accounting department is really F**ked up)

If you haven't done so already, I would recommend taking a screenshot of your cashier page

You have a point Leo...if they really want players' loyalty and trust..they would need to return the money. But it's not looking too good...and you can't even transfer the bonuses to poker stars. I've been doing my research and browsing around looking for other alternatives..."paynorake" site is not bad..like the idea of free rake..."betraiser" doesn't seem all that bad either. Less traffic...but they have guaranteed tournaments. So i guess there's a better chance of winning...i also want to give "Worldpokerexchange" a shot...heard some pretty good things.

sent Tilt an email and got this response within hours, withdrawing thru moneybookes which used to be instantaneous
Hello Terry,

Thank you for contacting us.

I can assure you that our software systems does not allow us to forget any money transactions. I can also assure you that your funds are safe and you will receive them. We truly apologize that you've had to wait this long, but when I look at the transaction and the duration, I see your withdrawal is in the final stages and it shouldn't be that much longer.

Again, we apologize for the inconvenience and we can only thank you for your understanding. Let us know if you have any other queries.

well let's hope they follow through...at least they responded. When I contacted them they didn't respond. I play rake free now...much less hassle so playing it "safe".
