Side activities when playing poker

What you are doing when playing poker on the side? For example listening music and what music do you listen?

If I'm playing in more of 5 tables, I do nothing but play.
If not, I check the new posts on Cardschat, play some wordles or watch some youtube podcasts

I try to do nothinh apart from playing poker. When I do other things I tend to find myself losing attention to poker.

I listened to music often earlier, until 2022. I am from Ukraine and now for the second year I listen to the news almost all the time.

Young people today seem to get bored only doing one thing. I'm sure some check their phones during sex.

I like to have some non distracting music on in the background, things like instrumental soundtracks or something that sounds relaxing.

I listen to music or watch something on YT, sometimes scrolling something, in fact i'm playing right now...

The only thing I do when playing poker is playing poker. I do listen too meditation music when i play and sometime pet the cat when she parks herself on my lap but overall, I just concentrate on playing poker.

I tru just to focus 100% on poker. It's not always possible but when I'm distracted I tend to do some silly mistakes.

Like a few others I try to give my full attention to the game. The only distraction I'll have is background music.

Different for everyone, but I think I'd start to question why I'm playing if I started to do other things too. If it's too boring to hold my attention then how much am I actually enjoying it? If I'm unable to concentrate on just the game then is it the game for me?

If I was really good (I'm not) I suppose it could become so easy that it's no longer a challenge, but then I'd move up in stakes to test myself, knowing that I need to start focusing again to win at a higher level.

If I'm playing at one or two tables, I can turn on some YouTube video and watch it, if I'm playing at 5 tables at the same time, I just listen to music, usually classical or just chill music, in rare cases, rock

I don't do any side activities when playing poker they distract me, I just play and focus only in my game.

I almost always am listening to music, occasionally having a wee drink, but later in the tournaments and eating food like crisps, nuts and popcorn ahahaha. I also make some moves in various online chess games that I play concurrently
