A-A
K-K
Q-Q
A-K (with A-K, A-Q and A-J suited preferred of course)
J-J
10-10
A-Q
9-9
A-J
K-Q (suited better, but not as important since you don't have the ace)

I love A-J and K-Q because every hand stronger than those hands are ones people bet out. If you're in the big blind with A-J or K-Q and people have only checked into you, you have the best hand, so go for a big raise like three times the pot. The people who will call you are fools with baby pairs likely to be counterfeited on the board.

damn johnnies

ive got about the same order, but for some reason, i hate Jacks in the hole
i always seem to lose with them
all in or slow played, the opposition always catches an over pair if i play em
maybe its just me
but i swear id prefer 10s or 9ers

Hi ,

i don't have ten favorites ????

I like all which look good to me and i decide a lot out of my feeling.

Sometimes i fold A/A... didn't feel to play it and i go with 8/5..

It depends on the day.

top ten huh?

AA
KK
AK (suit)
AK (OS)
QQ
JJ
KQ (suit)
TT
J10 (suit)
89 (suit)

and you're prolly saying bs what a moron but those suited connectors have hit straight flushes for me so many times and no one puts you on them in a raised pot yesterday I played 89 diamonds and flop came 5c Jd 7d turn brought Td and river came Th the guy who I was in the pot with had TcJh so the full boat was not going to be folded we raised it all the way and I busted him out right before the $$

Those suited connectors esp 89 67 or TJ are tough to put people on and thats what makes them so dangerous and my faves

My top ten hands?

(1) the hand that wins
(2) same as (1)
(3) same as (2)
(4) same as (3)
(5) same as (4)
(6) same as (5)
(7) same as (8)
(8) same as (7)
(9) same as (8)
(10) any suited connector--I'm a sucker for these-- they rock:thrasher:

No offense to the guy who started this thread, I think it's an interesting question, I just thought I'd post a different answer
