PokerStars tournament user statistics?

I am new to online tournament poker and I have seen users quote statistics of other players in the hand (either $ amount won/loss total or win percentage).

Where are they getting this information? Also, how accurate is it?

This is the site I use for stats and I just use the free side.

There are other sites, some have free stats some you have to pay for I'm sure others will chime in.
