Has anyone ever been to a university party or gathering with friends and wanted to play poker but there were only cards?

In my meetings we loved to first bet tequila shots. if you lost the hand, shot, if you didn't go for 3 hands, shot, until we were drunk enough to forget the game

If you want to play poker but only have a deck of cards and no chips, you can still enjoy the game by assigning a value to each card and using them as makeshift chips. We bet a rum. LOL, it is fun rather than I imagine.

In Peru it is a bit similar but it is not in meetings, but instead they set up live cash tables and rather they offer drinks or liquor as courtesy to the players which leads to getting drunk no matter what.

Quite often you could find toothpicks or matches etc and you would feel way better the next morning
