Out of what I have seen I'd say
Rounders and the Cincinnati kid are the best i've seen followed by lucky you.

Haven't seen Casino Royale or any of those others maybe I should check them out.

Rounders is awesome, also Casino Royale, poker only plays small part but so what, ha ha.

ty for mentioning Lucky You, haven't heard of this one, will be watching tonight

Maverick is great movie but its like roadrunner vs wil-e-coyote poker, i mean come on the showdown at the end, full house shows then quads then str8 flush then royal flush lol

this one's off topic but it is about a card game and about gambling with an edge and it is a pretty good movie ... 21

Rounders as best fictional. Nothing beats the Stu Ungar story though!

The poker bit makes for decent dramatic tension, but it has ****-all to do with how the game is really played.

The rest of the movie is more or less typical Bond-movie fare (which I can't say of Quantum, though I found that a good movie as well), and excellent fun.

I think if many of you were a couple decades older, you would all vote for the Cincinnati Kid!

Rounders for sure. Gotta say though I liked the series 2 Months two million which focused on 4 guys trying to win 2m in two months. Mostly online play.

Also liked the Stu Ungar documentary. That was sick. He was sick.

I just watched the worst documentary on poker imo.
Tbh I didn't even finish it, it was so bad.

I'm sure some ppl liked it. I'm certainly not one of them. But if you fancy... Grinders

In my (unpopular) opinion it's Lucky You - but maybe I'm biased because it stars an Australian.

Im voting lucky you too, but only cos I was nearly in it.

They were filming in 05 in binions. They had the whole poker area roped off but the floor was still in operation.
I was playing on a table just near where the crew were. I got to chatting to some of the crew and asked if I could just walk in the background.
They said it was OK to just walk to the cage and cash chips in and walk back, So I was standing there waiting for them to do the shot with my crew buddy holding the rope open for me when he notices my tshirt is a red sox '04 world series tshirt. the movie is set in '01 or something. He wouldnt let me go passed just incase someone else on the crew saw the tshirt. I was gutted.
If Id have been on screen my tshirt would make me famous lol.

As I happens a few of my dealer buddies were in the movie too, on the final table, so I like it because of that too.

The movie itself, not so much.
