I don't consider poker a sport. For me it's just a gambling game where my main goal is to win money and have fun at the same time

In spain the goverment says it is a sport and therefore you have to pay tax on your winnings in tournaments....

I personally play for the enjoyment of the game. Poker is not a sport. A mind game yes but sport no.

I have to slightly disagree here.
Poker is a mindgame yes, but it can also get physically challanging. Be it a very long session or simply a very stressfull one, your body shows similiar symotons to running a marathon. Heartrate, sweating etc. That makes poker fullfill all requirements to be a sport.

Recreational is a sport.
It's not the mother who curses the child because she gambles, but because she's trying to get it out by gambling.
