My very first time playing live Texas Hold'em at a casino, I played in a one table tournament.
I did not want to be the first player out, so I played very conservatively in the beginning. After about 20 minutes, I was 10th out of 10, when 2 players got knocked out in the same hand, and I was 8th, but still last. The next hand, I got pocket 7s in the big blind. There were 2 limpers, so I raised and was called by both. The flop came with nothing special...no paint, so I bet out the pot...one hand folded, the other went all in and I called. My 7s held up and I won the hand moving up to 3rd spot.
This may be the one hand that I play due to emotion, being the first hand that I won with.
Do you have that special hand that you MUST play ?
