Live is much slower but more complex, given the live interaction with competitors
Online is "poorer" in using all your senses to collect information, but it's much more comfortable and fast.
So in the end, it is almost like two different games (with the same basic rules).
I love both. I wish I could afford to play more live but online s more affordable to me. Live is slower but more fun in my opinion than online but I do love playing not mater what way it is.
I have hardly played live but played in a big MTT recently. Preferred it. More time and cost getting there but more of an experience and people respect each other more live.
Well for starters you can't play or free or even small stakes live. Unless it's a home game with your friends. Chances are if your playing live you have to travel to get there and that's money for gas right there. For me it's about a 45 min ride to the casino. With the investment in time and money to play live it's best not to play recklessly because there's to much time to kick yourself on the way home.
When it comes to play, the game is much slower live but the levels in tournament play are longer so it kind of equals out. I think that I prefer to play live. I just like playing with real cards and chips. I like to face my opponents. It's just easier to get a read on them. The game is a bit more social as well. At the same time I enjoy the comfort of playing at home. So at the end of the day I'll take my poker anyway I can get it.
In live poker, you need to monitor opponents more to identify leaks, as for online poker, there are more standard actions and you can monitor opponents using programs.
Live there is a element of stature. Your presentation and senses are studied.
Online you just hope you have the best hand. Use past betting patterns. More aggression, and common monster on monster hand. Online can be cheaper to play but allot easier to bust your br.
Comparing the two is like comparing riding a horse to a camel. Yes you can ride both but different animals. Good luck
Hi.
The difference between an online game and a live game is huge. Obviously, live play is much more complex and requires more patience, concentration and skill.
Good luck.
I have never played live only online, but I think it must be more tiring since to reach the final table online I play about 8 hours, live it must be much more
Both are good, although sometimes we suspect that there is some artificial intelligence in online poker software, but according to my simple experience, I think the two are similar in a good proportion, the difference is that live poker is more social and more fun, and allows us to learn and apply the skill of reading a language The body, how to control them at the same time.
Don't know. I've never played live. But I think there are differences when you can look your opponent in the eye and catch his emotions on your actions. This is much more interesting. But I only play online.
Playing live will bring you more emotions, positive or negative I do not know, but I can say for sure that they will be 100 times stronger. Good luck and good hands
Playing them online gives you the comfort of your home, but I think that the adrenaline when it is live makes one have and achieve much greater concentration in the game and in the tournament, there are much fewer factors to distract you because everything revolves around the tournament and there is nothing beyond the game
