If You plan on playing tournaments with higher buy ins then
I would suggest to play live to be prepared...
Especially reading your opponents cannot be praticed well
enough online and You will have to to sit at a table in real life
to learn it.

If You are only looking at what is more profitable then I think
playing online is the better way to go... Multiple tables at the
same time will help to get along with variance and You can
play anytime you like from the comfort of your home. Invest
in a good HUD and You will have an instant edge over 90% of
the players online....

I don't know what your live options are but here where I am in the smaller casinos live rake is terrible. Not only is rake high at lower limits (1/2) but they also take fees for the bonuses they offer. Tournaments at low buyins are even worse. I play a 50 dollar buyin occasionally and only 29 goes into pool. They take 5 for monthly promo 5 for dealer bonus 5 for optional bonus chips which isn't really optional and rest for fees. That being said I love live so much more lol
