Sheesh, first time i make gold star all year and this comes up.

haha. Similar situation for me. I had to spam 3k hands the last 2 days just to maintain goldstar, and getting platinum is flat out impossible for me, but if there is this bonus thing it would clearly have been more profitable to take the bonus rather than the 0.5xfpp. $250 isn't near enough to try and get platinum, where as $100 or $150 to make goldstar (just guessing) would have been a nice little bonus.

Goals:

1. 30k hands 2nl 6 max
2. grind up to 10nl
3. 2 mtt final tables of >500 players

I just started focusing on cash games last month, and did quite well. For whatever reason I picked 6max, guess it just fits my style better?

Anyway, if you got the bankroll for 5NL, even if you have to drop some tables, I think it is worth it. They are just as easy, if not easier than 2NL.
