you have like a $5k laptop and don't know your resolution?
Right-click desktop then Properites then Settings and use the slider if your not using your max res.
Try this vanquish
Edit: Sorry should say "To see your max res"
i have it dragged to the highest: 1280x800.
does this imply that no matter what kind of monitor i get for my laptop, that will always be its max resolution?
Just a note, 22 inch monitors give you more bang for your $ than 24 inchers...
Expect to pay ~100$ more for the 24 inch ones. Or at least that's what I found the last time I was in the market for monitors.
They really kill you in the pocket book if you want those extra couple inches. I guess it all depends on how many tables you want to play at a time and if you're able to find out ahead of time how many fit on a certain monitor size and resolution. The extra couple inches for the price isn't worth it imo. Adding a second monitor is a more viable option.Wouldn't the extra $100 be worth it for the extra resolution? Its not just the size that matters with monitors.
I use a Sony Bravia 40" HD TV monitor, big enuff for anything. Not sure of the resolution, but it is clean...
sweet mercy
I guess I can always just hook up my PC to my 42" LCD tv only about 4 feet away from the PC
