I had no idea Chris Moneymaker had a life rich enough to inspire a movie. I always thought he was just a regular joe who appears to have some natural talent for poker and the proper amount of luck to be an unlikely
wsop Main Event winner.
He therefore became something of a symbol for hope that maybe anyone could rise to the top of the poker world. His success made a significant contribution to expanding serious involvement in the game by rookie players, but is that enough, or is there a lot more to it that I'm just not aware of?
