I played a live $60 buyin tourney last week. It was my first live play in several months. I came in 3rd and won $143 which was great. The things I noticed about playing live after so long and my usual online play was that live seemed easier in some ways. There was one maniac/fish at my beginning table who raised/called/went all in almost every hand and got quite lucky several times. I was getting NOTHING but trash hands 98% of the time or more, so I had to fold almost constantly making me look like a very tight idiot. The crazy player was 2 to my right and a good player was 3 to my right. The good player would make a large raise every time I was in the BB because of my having to fold so much. I finally caught a decent pre-flop hand after almost an hour and was able to help send the maniac out of the game. It was easier to read the players which helped me survive and make the money. Just wish I lived closer than 2 hours to a casino.
