yes I definitely agree that not looking at your cards when they are dealt in a live game gives you invaluable information about how your opponents react to certain cards and the flop and also give important tells that can provide the winning edge in live games.

Some good tips, most players act like this but then you get the ones that dont..... I try my best despite sick bad beats in casinos :) im only 19 so im happy not to be living in america :) id hate to have to wait until i was 21 :)

There are a lot of dissenting opinions on #5 and when to look at your cards. One that I would pair with that is #237 Know and regulate your pace. A lot of information is given away in how and how fast you make your bets. A lot of bluff are pushed into the pot rather quickly. Obviously if you identify a daft player, then you can adjust this general rule to not over-generalize. However, you should always be aware of your own pacing to avoid giving away information inadvertently.

Gosh, reading this all just make me think. I've never even thought about anything on this thread. Offcourse I didn't play live poker yet but that's a good pocket information of when I decide to.
