It's probably +EV. That's one of the reasons I bought the 64/nes/snes.

Also, a chin-up bar and/or a speedbag in my room would be ****in awesome.

My January is pretty much over, so I'll go ahead and post results now. Pretty happy with the way the month went, except for cash games. I feel like if I had not wasted my time with them, I would have saved a lot of money, and been able to move up in tourney limits, and made a lot more money. All in all, my month was pretty good, nice upswongs at the beginning and end of the month, while breaking even in between

The fact that i very very rarely get the money in bad, generally only in cooler situations, set over set etc etc, means that when i run bad, i breakeven, when i am runnig normal, im winning 3 out of 4 and when running hot, winning like 10 in a row. That gets me orgasmic :)

i take this back

set under set twice, full house under full house, 3rd nut flush + 2nd nut low < nuts both ways, 2nd nut low + straight < flush + nut low, flopped straight + 3rd nut low < nut low + pair, trips + low< flush draw with no low draw, trips< pair + gutshot. Really puts a dent in the winrate

Dude. The doomswitch never sleeps, always listens, and has no mercy. I'm gonna slowly back away. :)

20k hands, goal reached :)

Also, posted a few hands in the HA that I could really use some input on if anyone's lurking around here tonight.

Well January was a month. Here is my graph.

Don't worry.. I'm going to skip February and go straight to March.
That way I don't clutter up the February thread.

Your doomswitch line looks a little messy. Send $0.02 to Daniel Negreanu imo.

First (non-accidental) shot at 2/4 taken. Didn't go great, but I still have some money in my set-aside buffer, so I'll keep at it. Definitely a lot of soft spots available at the tables, so I'm not too concerned about this working out sooner or later. I just have to be careful not to overadjust to the aggression - which I definitely think I might have these first 500 hands. Some re-steal situations and light calldowns that I don't think I normally make.

Yup, that's always dangerous when moving up. It's still the same game and people don't randomly play back against unknowns.

I just love how you can move up and up and up, and it's always the same game. Initially it FEELS different, you have tons of respect for all the regs, but in the end you realize that the new limit isn't that different from the old one.
