In my experience, I tend to lose more with decent
hands shortly before or after the break. I do have some wins in that timeframe, but typically, I get wrecked with amazing post-break hands, holding 80% preflop, 90% flop. Yet, many many losses to donkeys calling with literally nothing pulling a runner runner showdown out of their you-know-what. Plenty of regular losses, too, draws pan out, higher pp, etc. To me, it seems like cards get softer during play (say, 30 or so minutes in). Before and (especially) after break, I wouldn't say I am put on tilt as much as I'm playing the hands that are dealt to me, which just so happen to be, I think, "harder hands", which also goes for everyone else, hence, how I get pot committed and sucked out near to breaks. Probably an autonomous error in mechanics, in my case, rather than what I would consider tilt. I'd say that happens after I catch a bad beat and I only have a few blinds left : P
