Six, (not trying to get in the middle of this debate) try to think of it like card counting at blackjack. It is not illegal or actually cheating but the casinos will bar you if they catch you.

Couple of points.

1) when you walk into a casino you make absolutely no promise not to count cards. You do make a promise to abide by the tos when you agree to the user agreement on tilt. In those tos it tells you no datamining.

2) if you did have an agreement to not count cards at a casino and you were abiding by it, would you be ok with a dealer, an employee of the casino, counting cards against you? I know, different situation. The dealer must hit and stand. The point still stands though in principle.

Blom crushed NLHE, and has gotten wayyy better at PLO since he first played. Isildurs only issue is he doesn't know how to book a win. I wish he was on FTP because he would be playing the highest limits. Maybe stars will raise their table limits for him, but Isildur is def the king of swing.

Lol @ calling him a whale when he was four tabling the top pros all at the same time playing two different games and winning. He crushed/raped Durr into submission at NLHE, thats why nobody really wants to play him in it.

PTR is such a rubbish tracking site, It's hard to believe any of it because of missed sessions and so on. As for him being a losing player, I think most forget or are rather on the boat of his full tilt account that he actually won several million on various poker sites so he isn't really "down". Besides, if you check PTR, it's his omaha results that are down 2mill and NL he's up 2mill, added to the fact that FT "pros" if that's what we want to call them all discussed his HH with each other to take him for several million.

I believe it's a good signing by pokerstars as he's very entertaining to watch and isn't a boring nit.
