I was just wonder how much you can withdrawal from an online poker room or casino before they start caring or before they cancel your account. If you were taking out $1000 per month would that even show up on their radar or is that just too little for them to even care about? Any insight or stories of personal experiences would be appreciated! Have a great day!

Everything you have. Especially for a pokerroom, you aren't making money off them, so they don't care.

Whoa theres joey joe joe jim bob joey joe joe.

What are you talking about? Why would the site "Care" or close your account if you withdrew money?

You know how poker works right...? You take money from players - not the poker sites, the poker site profits AS you are taking money from players (Rake). They always win.

I completely agree, but with one addition.

A poker room like pokerstars probably has hundreds of millions of dollars in the accounts of the players. Somebody is making money on that balance and it's a good bet that it's PokerStars, at least in part. Making a withdrawal would cost them money in that sense but I'm sure that wouldn't affect their decision to let you withdraw funds. As was said above, they're making plenty on the rake.

The thing that worries me, and prevents me from keeping too much in my account, is that they can arbitrarily suspend my account and deny me access to my funds if they sense some impropriety on my part or on the part of someone who they can connect to me.

Thanks for all of the input, I appreciate it. I realize that I did not make this clear and that the point of my question was a little off from a poker chat room, but I was concerned more with casinos than poker rooms. I understood about rake and that my winnings at poker dont come from the house so why should they care. Would a casino notice and/or care if you were making say $600 each and every month? I don't get around to coming on here often but this chat room is a wealth of information. Thanks again!

First, no idea about casinos.

Second, it'd have to be a horribly set up online casino if you are winning money regularly. The games are rigged in the house's favor, don't play them.
