I just started playing online at Pokerstars last Nov. for play money, I earned 184mil in play money, never bought chips, took their free $12,500 every 4 hrs. or when I logged on.
I just started playing online for real money, won $20.00 on ignition, but lost it, and lost the first $50.00 I deposited, later dropped $20.00 and lost that too. I signed up with ACR. a wk. ago and have took 1,st place 2 times and won $2.50 each game, but I lost it. lol
I know the only way I grew my bank account in play money was having money to gamble with. not to mention the payout difference in placing. The way I figured to grow a big bank roll, like before, like my play money at poker stars, I need to drop $200.00 and play $1-5 dollar tournaments, if I can grow it to $1000.00 then start playing $5-$20 Tournaments, If I reach $15,00 play $20-$50 If I hit $2000 I play $50-$200 Tournaments. You have to have enough to have losing money room, you will always yo yo your gambling balance in poker.

All honestly I deposited my first 50 on bol maybe 2 months ago played out of my bankroll and had a good swing got up to 450 my first week.. then lost it all and kept depositing .. and depositing.. I think I've probly deposited 600 or 700 by now I play mostly mtts I'll cash in one just often enough to be even for the day most times now so I guess that's an improvement.

Didn't take me that long tbh, a few weeks max but this was playing 5/10 no limit ten years ago ... fast forward 24 months I lost my entire bankroll of 2k in one week lol .. in the bankroll management wasn't my forte haha

I have not made a poker deposit yet, but I already had success last year - I earned a few dollars in freerolls and then increased my bankroll to 150! after that I did not have the discipline and I lost everything on sports betting

I started playing in free live bar tournaments. I won my first tournament, where the winner received $20. I played for about 2 years in bar tournaments and online (where I have never deposited) before I ever played poker at a casino. I probably racked up over $200 in bar credits in those 2 years, so I'm counting it lol. It was all free poker.
I was lucky that I also took 3rd in my first casino poker tournament and won $350 in a $30 tourney with about 100 people.

I made a $ 20 deposit and in less than a week I made $ 100. I only played Sit Go single table with 9 players. I only achieved this quick result because I've been playing sit-go in a facebook App for over 3 years. I noticed that most of the time it was in the awards range. Well, it's working so far.
