At first you should play the small buy tournaments or even free tournaments for which you are accepted, to see if you are familiar with online poker.

I don't think I would stop playing, unless it's like millions of dollars.

This question probably sounds rhetorical: there is no such thing as too much money, and the more, the better.
Financial tip: Calculate how much money you need per day and don't spend more.500K euros is enough for me.

Leu or dollars? Doesn't your government take 40% like ours does?

I would need at least a few million to retire from high-stakes
and come back to freerolls :)
dollars , of course :)...no the winnings taxes are 3% ..:).. but even with 40 % it still 60.000$ that is a fortune ..i probably have them for the rest of my life ...seriously

Hi :)
$1,000 would be enough for me to live comfortably. Now poker brings me an average of 50 dollars a month. So I need 20 times more :)
I think my goal is ambitious, but quite achievable :)
..... in any case, no matter how much I earn playing poker, I will still continue to play because for me poker is not a job or a duty, for me poker is just great fun :)

Why does it aways have to be about the Money? I sometimes go out of my way to watch a Live Stage performance, Booking a Hotel room for a couple of Nights, Travelling Hundreds of miles, just to catch someone famous at a Concert or whatever, Just so I can say I was there, I do it because I enjoy it.
Likewise playing poker in some Casino I have never been to before is exciting and exhilarating, I play Poker for Fun and enjoyment, Not! to make Money!
If I win a little money, then Great I have had my pleasure and made some money into the bargain, but it is by no means the reason I play Poker. I play because it is a fun game, because it gives me pleasure, and no amount of money would ever stop me playing something I enjoy.

Well, I'll be honest with you, I'm in the process of collecting $1000 for a new computer. The thing is, I have a laptop (a good expensive one), but it overheats too much in the summer, especially if I start playing some top games like Red Dead Redemption 2. However, I don't play games at all for now, as I spend a lot of time playing poker and freelancing. :sneaky:
Focusing on a computer with efficient cooling mechanisms might be a wise choice. Additionally, since you're primarily involved in poker and freelancing, you might not need the highest-end gaming hardware. Look for a computer with a good balance of performance, cooling capabilities, and durability to support your activities without breaking the bank.

Yeah, I've already found the right one. So I know the exact amount of money I need. And yes, it's somewhere around $1,000. But I think if I work hard, combining freelancing and poker, I will be able to afford to buy the necessary computer by the end of this year.

Poker is good entertainment and trains the mind and character. The amount of money has nothing to do with it. Sounds like How much money do you want so you don't drink more coffee.

Determining a satisfactory amount of money to stop playing poker varies significantly among players, depending on personal goals, financial needs, and reasons for playing. For some, poker is a source of enjoyment rather than income, and no specific amount would prompt them to stop. For others, a specific financial goal, like earning enough to buy a house, fund retirement, or reach financial independence, might serve as a target. It's essential to set personal and financial goals based on your circumstances, considering both short-term achievements and long-term aspirations. Ultimately, the decision should reflect a balance between financial satisfaction and the enjoyment or fulfillment derived from playing poker.

That's an excellent question, not just for poker, but in life.

But I won't go on too long and I'll talk exclusively about poker: I don't play poker for the money, so no amount would be enough.
