I ended up being bubble boy in the PokerCast freeroll on pokerstars today, and I've discovered that the person who was very short stacked before I got knocked out sent me $5. Is there any way of thanking him? Or do I just have to wait till we're both on again to be able to speak to him?

That is an awesome gesture. I don't think they have a way to send messages but you could probably search their name but then I think you could only thank them in the table lobby.

yeah, you can use the find a player feature to find him next time he is playing, and drop him a line in the chat
