I hit one at a small home game. I had j10h. Kh and Ah hit flop and i turned the Qh. It was an incredible feeling. It would have been awesome to have been in a bigger cash game but it was still cool to have hit it.
Yep. First time was on Pokerstars. Hit the J of clubs on the river for a stack that shot me to the top of the trny. Went out in 3rd. Good times, good times.
Not a single one in 16 years of playing. Have had my AAAKK beat by a Royal Flush, and seen it one other time in a home game.
Just last week I was on a table (not in the hand), when a Royal Flush was dealt out on the BOARD. Two players split the pot.
I did get a hole-in-one in golf several years ago. I consider it compensation for not getting a Royal Flush.
Only time I ever "hit" a royal flush was after folding my KJ suited to some 3 and 4 betting preflop, then the flop came and (would have) gave me 9 to K straight flush and the turn brought the ace. Villains were in the pot with high pocket pairs (QQ and JJ I think) and both made full houses on the river... I could have cleaned up :'(
Made a little straight flush in a cash game once, managed to get well paid for it too. Opponent didn't show his hand but he was really pissed off so I guess he had nut flush or something decent.
This miracle has happened only twice to me in my 12 years of poker experience. And the first time it was just a friendly game with minimal stakes, and I won about 120 paunds in the end...
I've had the happiness of sometimes making a royal flush, it's an incredible happiness, even more knowing that you can't lose and you can bet everything without fear.
No, I have hit a straight flush to king in real life but not online. I have hit qaud Aces and qaud Qs before too, good luck and hope ya crush em when you caught it.
