I heard that you can look back on everyhand that has been played, even if your opponent has mucked you can still see his cards? Is this true?

You should be able to do that at all sites - I know you can at Fulltilt and pokerstars.

It's true, you can do it right after the hand it over. I do it after every showdown, just to see what the villan had, what kind of draw was he chasing, or was he just plain crazy.

I know on FullTilt you can see the opponents hole cards in your hand history as long as it was a called or checked hand. According to most common rules of poker you do have that right if you paid to be in the hand until the end. Most common rules of poker etiquette state that the loser can muck his cards without showing the losing hand however, and the winner should not ask to see the cards.

I prefer seeing the called hands. It gives a wealth of information about how your opponent plays and I think it is only fair if you paid to see the hand all the way.

I think its unfair you can see mucked cards... Isnt that the whole point of mucking in the first place? It doesnt let you see the mucked on UB or AP though..

FT: on the top left corner there is a small icon "last hand"
It will show you up to 50 previous hands of your table..., just click... ;)
there is lots of info to be gotten there...

You can keep a hand history on Tilt but I am not sure you can see the mucked cards.

I do the same exact thing..
Looking back at each hand lets make focus on the game more instead of reading something on a website..

You cant' see the mucked hands. They are mucked for a reason, so you do not see it. You can click on the last hand icon and see the past hands and it will show everyone's hole cards that were showed down ant the showdown, and your own.

In a casino if you see a showdown your opponent has a right to see your cards, and since the opponent can see, the entire table has the right to see. This rule is in place to protect players from collusion.
People don't ask to see mucked cards in a casino because it is rude. You are essentially accusing them of cheating if you do so.

Since you you have the right to see the cards I believe that it's fair to include them in the hand history.

A surprising number of players don't know about this, and they are at a huge disadvantage!

I was playing on Full Tilt yesterday and I won a hand at showdown with the nut flush. There were 2 nines on the board. The player the mucked there cards said "I had K9". I looked at the hand history and saw that he had actually had 67o (for an opened straight draw).

Now I was pretty sure he didn't know about the hand history showing the cards, so I played it for all it was worth. I said "No. You had 67o." I had him convinced I could see his cards until I let him off the hook and told him about the hand history display.

On FT you can only view your opponents hand if it goes to a showdown. If he mucks before that it's not visible. I wish every othere poker site used the same GUI to view previous hands.

As long as they played the hand through the final flop, bet and called you can see their hand if they don't show you the loser.
Upper left corner has "last hand" click it and check all the hands. You can even see the winners you folded.

You can see mucked hands!!!! You just proved yourself wrong. Read what you wrote and I highlighted:D

You are confusing Mucking and Folding. If someone "mucks" before the showdown, it's a fold... not a muck. If someone has a losing hand during the showdown and decides not to show, that's a muck and is visable in all HH and replays.

TriggaLoss explained it correctly... thanks for the info, I never thought about checking the hand history just to see a mucked hand, but I will from now on. Good to know!

Thanks for the info, I never thought that you can see see the cards of your opponent after the match. I think it will be a good advantage for a player to see what cards they have. I will try to use the hand history in my next game.

Thats partialy untrue or partially true however you want to look at it. You can look back and see only hands that were called to the river if you mucked on or before the river those hands are not shown. You cant believe everything you hear.:joyman:

You too are confused between mucking and folding!!!

If you "muck" your hand before the river... It's not a muck, it's a fold!!!

If you go to the river and someone bets the river and you don't call, that is a fold and not a muck.

If you go to the river and someone bets and you call, however you see that you have the losing hand and decide not to show... that is a MUCK.

If you go to the river and someone checks and you check, however you see that you have the losing hand and decide not to show... that too is a MUCK.

All Mucked hands can be seen in the HH and Replay!!!

So you can believe everything you hear.:D
