Favorite and least favorite poker stars (person)?

Favourite I would say is Stu Ungar. Less favourite for me is Daniel Negreanu because sometimes on the poker table he speaks and speaks and speaks....a lot about stupid things, and it becomes annoying....

But I like many other players.

Jason Koon, Nick Petrangelo, Kelly Minkin and Joe Cada were my favorites to watch this year. I feel like the people at the top of my list are always going to change. Koon is a beast, Petrangelo crushes high stakes tournaments, Kelly is the best female player and Cada really revamped his game and it show this year.

My least favorite is probably Todd Brunson. I don't feel like he puts in the time to improve his game. It's stale and seems like he feels like he's better then studying

Thanks for the well thought out answer! I agree that my list is always changing.. I'm a big fan of Jason Koon as well. I enjoyed watching him most in the Triton series.

This is interesting! I like that Daniel speaks a lot at the table because it shows confidence to me. The fact that he can talk the amount that he does and still play his game is impressive. But I can totally see how it would annoy people, both viewers and opponents.

My favorite is Phil Hellmuth. I really do not have a least favorite. I enjoy reading about or hearing from all the players.

Interesting! What about Phil Hellmuth makes him your favorite player? He is undoubtably one of the best, but are there any other factors that make you like him the most?

I'm a fan of Laak as well. His self-deprecating humor is always entertaining. He seems to always keep the mood light and just enjoys the game.

I haven't seen a lot of Mustapha Kanit, but agree about Hellmuth seems like a sore loser a lot of the time. There's no denying he's an amazing poker player though.

I think Daniel Negreanu is the best poker player. Given the popularity of poker, I think that in the near future there will be new poker stars.

Favorite: daniel negreanu/Doyle Brunson both are humble and give back to the poker community. Daniel has hours of videos on youtube talking poker theory that are absolutely free.

Least: Tony G not the kind of guy i would enjoy having a beer with

So many favorites. Daniel for sure. I like Laak and Helmuth. Probably my least favorite is the Grinder. Not a big fan of stupid aggressive plays. Do love when he gets burned by this type of play.
