Yes I have hit a royal flush, and I think I remember seeing someone else get one as well at a table I played at. This was of course online, as playing enough hands live to see a royal would be very painful.
I once hit a straight flush 7-jack at a home game with my friends. Unfortunately I wasn't very good at extracting value, but I got some chips in there.
I've only ever hit it once online. All hearts laid out it was a beautiful sight. My opponent also caught a regular flush on the river, and so after we went all in and I showed my cards he was like, "Was that really a royal flush? I'm not even mad."
once we play heads-up with my friend nad flow was AJQ (suited diamonds), at turn was 10d, and river was Kd, and we WOAAAAAAH, it couldn;t be true, and we look at this magic desk and can't believe
I've been playing online for about 16 years. I only play tournaments, I really suck at cash games. Anyway for several years I played several tournaments at a time for 10 to 12 hours a day. There are no telling how many millions of hands I've played.
So to answer your question, yes I've had several Royals. I had one last month, but it had been a few years since my last one.
I've actually had a royal flush more times than you would think. There was one game where I got it 2 hands back-to-back and I couldn't even get anyone to call so that people would see it. It was almost like it never happened, lol. Thankfully, I saved the hand replay. I'm not on the computer it is saved on so I can't share them in this post, but I'll post them later on.
I have only hit a few times. I have hit with 5 card draw, which gained me a nice pot against a full house. That was a wild game that night and there were pistols drawn because of my hand. Backroom games were so much fun back in the day.
I have also hit with hold em, but it was a bunch of guys sitting around a table at work killing time during a break. Never have hit even a straight flush in the game since.
