I totally agree .... emotions are not compatible with poker if one wishes to be successful ... but remember that we are human beings for this reason we are emotional .... it is not easy to play without feeling anything

Wanna hear worse of the worse.
Playing in a casino for 1$-3$. Get pockets jacks and get into a nice preflop battle before handed a flop giving me middle set. Betting occurs and all ins happen and I lose to top set....set over set, get really steamed head outside for a break and calm down with a cigarette. Talk to an elder who hears me hand and asks me if it’s time to go cause the hand just cost me all my grinding out profit and I was at even buy in. I agreed seeing how as u say, I didn’t want to go in there chasing lost chips...BUT if wasn’t my fault, dealer saw me returning to the table, with a rack in hand,and deals me in as I approach. And lone behold I get pocket jacks again, and again I flop a set again but top set, I’m so steamed I over bet the flop, and the turn and the villain sucks out on the river and makes a straight!!!

Hey, it's just a game. Bad beats are inevitable because that's part of the game. A solid player can overcome the bad beats. If you believe this, and I have forty-five years of experience, so I not only believe it I've proven it countless times, then there is no need for negative emotions. I do however display positive emotions especially after winning a hard-fought game.
