no, I don't regret it at all. I think poker is a very exciting and interesting game, I'm never bored when I play poker. it works as a nice pastime, but hopefully in the long run it can also become a source of income

I don't regret learning to play poker, learning doesn't take up space, the problem with regret is the way you see poker, I see it as a pastime and a way to relax, there are people who see poker as a way to win money. To have fun you need to study poker, to make money you need to study and dedicate yourself to the maximum. I don't regret it, because I only use poker for fun. And do you use poker for fun or as a source of money?

How can I regret the extra income. Even if this income is not big, poker gave me the opportunity to quickly acquire the things I dreamed of.

me, of course, because in 20 years there are only minuses
Me? Not of course! Because in 20 years there are only plus! :ROFLMAO:

But seriously, I am indeed a plus player. You can check it in a sharkscope, for example. You just need to understand one golden rule: try to play with as little money as possible in those tournaments where you can win as much money as possible. Or better yet, don't invest at all. Play freerolls, enjoy your life. Unfortunately, there is a war in my country, so I can't enjoy my life for more than 1.5 years now. But I wish you to enjoy a calm and peaceful life. And you are very lucky that you haven't seen the horrors of war.:(

Nope, I like to gamble in moderation. I put poker in that category.

Honesty there should be no regret in learning new things, you can regret what you then do with the acquired knowledge however and I believe you should look at it from that perspective...
I generally try to live by the rule to never regret anything, good or bad. Move on from it and keep on going. One should not dwell too much in the past.

Mostly online player. Nah not even a little and I wouldn't feel any different if I was a losing player either. I'm lucky even to have had poker as a hobby now for 20 some years and over that time I've been able to make a bit of money playing micro/low stake cash and MTT's. For a guy who has played much in many years I still manage to do quite well.
If I was losing player I wouldn't have lost more then I could afford and as I consider poker a hobby any hobby usually requires spending money. I spent more on other hobbies then I would have on poker if I was a losing player. For example I've spent about 8k on sim-racing gear/computer over the years. Couple grand on photography. 2k-8k goes a long way at micro/low stakes when you're limited in playing time. I don't regret spending money on any of that....why would on poker if I was losing player? I wouldn't.
Besides I just love the competition and challenge of coming thru a large MTT field.

Cheers!!!

No way, no, no, no again. I have nothing to regret, because this game is a wonderful hobby that gives both pleasure and material wealth. I'm having more fun so far, and I used to worry a lot about losing, but reading literature and listening to players I know and others have learned to see it as an integral part of poker. I've become much calmer both in the game and in life.

There's no point in regretting anything. Everything that happens to us makes sense.

No, the game is interesting and it comes to me as a hobby. I would like to play less because I often spend 8 hours at tables.

Never, never every, Never. Playing slots- yes, yes, yes. I regred My father is in haven. Because he always told me that i have to learn poker. I start learning after he die. Realny learn for few days. But My son is near 18 and start learning with me. Sometimes i think AM i not to old? But I start reading Dara O'Kearney (Satellite Specialist) and he was also about 40 when he start.
