By irony of fate one of my jobs is in a poker club in the city where I live (Belo Horizonte). I rarely play online because I work as a tournament director and I have to watch over the progress of the game. But when I do I usually play some tournament there. In my other service, as a development analyst, during the off-season I usually play some quick games, but avoid as much as playing with a weary mind is not good.

Yes... I played poker in my old job since I had schedules in which I could do it without interruptions or on weekends I could divide the tasks and so take the time to play as it works on weekends too.

i never would be allowed to play at work, i do know many people thatplay while workin.I just dont understand why a employer would even allow this, definitly not great for employees that are working and doing there job

In my opinion playing poker during job is not that smart. Poker is not that kind of
"game" u can check it from time to time and call, fold, raise. You need to be focused maximum, watch your opponent how they act, and take a notes on them. You need to enjoy playing poker, not to look on it just to spend some time.I wish good luck to everyone, keep winning,
