It would make sense, but I think for the multi tablers out there, they will always prefer a full ring. The action is slower, therefore less panic, and they will be able to maximize their rakeback, depending on the rakeback system of course.

The pro who said this was Paul Jackson,i thought it was a strange thing to say as i believe the sites will always cater to the demand for fullring.

I think that there is ALWAYS going to be full ring, it's just that it may not be as popular... nowadays online people are usually only playing FR to grind rakeback or SNE with some who do just enjoy playing FR more... however 6max is just more profitable for good players usually since you can exploit players a lot more easily and more enjoyable for those who like action

Who can predict the future...

But, if a poker room has 6 max and FR tables in their software, and customers are sitting at the FR tables and playing, here is no reason for a site to stop this. For every full table, an empty one pops up.

The software has FR, 6 max, heads up etc. I cant see a poker room changing this. I see other games on some sites with no traffic at times, the poker rooms leave these games up. Why not? If the tables stay empty 23 out of 24 hours, they still get that 1 hour of rake at no extra cost, and FR is active a bit more than 1 hour a day.

I play 6 max...lol

this will never happen, online sites wont lose money if they have FR tables with no one in, its not as if they are taking up space, so they will always have them available, even if they are not that popular

as for casino's they are the best games space wise and i am sure people will always want to play them

for me, they are just a bit to slow to be enjoyable

Wow, I was a little alarmed at the original post but feel much better after reading some responses. I really don't want to adjust to 6max, that would suck.

Played at a live table w/ screens built in and no actual cards (FR though).

Apparently the tables were licensed by Antonio Esfandiari because his damn face kept popping up before each hand.

..Kind of freaked me out, honestly.

FR games are dying online, that's for sure. I don't think casinos will ever get rid of FR though.

Does he have any brothers? Is he the oldest? Cause then Big Brother REALLY IS watching you.....;)

Where was this? And what were the players like? Just like any live players? Did you pay a fee, or was the rake higher than normal, and was is faster than dealt hands (I am guessing it must be)?

It was on a Carnival Cruise ship last year. Felt like a micro CG w/ very loose aggressive players (many of them were drinking). I think the rake was 5%.. but don't hold me to that.

I only played one session but it was obviously faster than a normal live table.

..And like with anything electronic involving money, it was totally rigged! (kidding)
