Critical thinking and Poker

I mean that in life we often come across situations that change our destiny.
And whether we move forward in a positive or negative direction is based on our decisions.
This is where critical thinking comes into play at that critical moment.
My question is, can poker improve our judgement?
Because I feel that there are parallels between life and poker.
After all, psychology appears in our human relationships, just like in poker. I think that, for example, an all-in situation activates similar brain areas as a life situation when you have to make a quick and good decision.
And the important thing is that these decisions are always made in a forced situation, when there is no possibility of hesitation.
