For example, I play so bad if I listen music while I play poker. but the waiting for next hand without music is so boring. I prefer play silent and alone, I don't know it affect me if I play live poker and people talking around.

concentration

I have no problem concentrating playing live tournaments. I watch the other players so I have a handle on them when I am in a hand. On line, I play at the most two games at a time now, used to play four but that is not a good idea at all. too distracting and you lose focus very quickly. I actually open a play money table when I am in a tournament so I can still be doing something but allow my donk player out for a stroll..........

i friends, this discussion is with regard to concentration because I came to a simple conclusion of my way of playing, for example: When I play alone without someone around, I can do well, but when there are colleagues who are with me in the same place where Game, I can not even pass in the first phases of the tournament, complicated because I do not know what to do in this situation, does anyone have an idea of what can be done?

You need to explore your psychotype more in different conditions, it may take time, but you will find the optimal state: Ангел:

Have you tried blaming your friends for losing? Yelling at them? Then apologizing?

been there, there is something called disatraction, it doesnt help when ur use to playing alone and with no distraction's,, i often make many mistakes when i have been interupted, then felt bad for objecting and saying something to that person/s
guess you need to ask yourself, what's more important ,, the Game or the person close in ur life !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Poker is a mental sport, and as such, you should be 100% focused most of the time you are sitting at a table, and that is a difficult exercise to achieve and perhaps also the key to success.

It is true that each player has his technique to achieve it, but through Yoga and meditation we can improve our game, clarifying and ordering our thoughts and feelings in the middle of the game, thus achieving balance, confidence, concentration, energy And the mental strength necessary to face the many hours we are at a poker table.
One of the reasons ancient civilizations practice yoga, was to sit and meditate for long periods of time, yoga can help you to be at a poker table for long periods without being uncomfortable

I don't like to talk at the table too much. I prefer to focus on the game and players. There is so much to take in. I find it distracting to talk.

If this happens in live events, I can say one thing - you are too dependent personality, which is very dependent on the opinions of others, because with them you want to be number one and not make mistakes to be above someone - this is a very complex psychological dependence . Cease to pay attention to others, be yourself, all the shooting roles in this life are already occupied. If this happens in online events - the output is much easier - play without those who distract you from the game.

Agree with you completely. When something distracts you when you play poker - it's very bad for your game.

In life we act different alone than when we are around others. If you see you play better when you are not with your friends, maybe you need to play your poker when friends are not around.

When friends are around, we tend to ham it up, be extroverted, etc to give or get attention. In poker, our attention needs to be on our game, not on our friends. Maybe your friend can be in the same room with you but be on their electronics doing what interests them and come to a mutual agreement not to interact each other as far as what is on each other's screen.

Thanks for the suggestions, and the best thing to do is to get everyone to concentrate and leave the comments for the tournament intervals. That way, we'll get a better game!

You are so right!
It has happened to me that I play alone and the concentration is much greater. However when there are people around me it is difficult to reach long instances in an MTT

Play only at night when nobody will disturb and distract. Or quit your job, do not recommend.

The most important step you have already taken, which is to recognize the problem, many have a hard time doing it. The second step you have also done, which is to ask for help about it. Now, the third step is up to you, you have to analyze your behavior, maybe, talk a lot with your teammates, maybe they intimidate you, maybe they already know the way you play and guess your plays. My recommendation is that you be different, that you play different and you take more risks when you are with your teammates and analyze how you do with each change you make in the way you play

Remember that you always have to improve your game, and knowing where the faults are is very important, good luck and tell us how you do with all the advice you have been given

I realized that you actually need to be concentrated when playing Poker. I remember that one time I was in a good position but ended up foccussing on a football game & forgot to mainly foccuss in the Tourny, the result was me being eliminated few positions before the bubble haha.

Try to ignore your colleagues as they are with you especially if they look and know the rules because they can give you bad advice in the game

totally agree with you. Concentration of attention is one of the most important guarantees of success in poker. A little blink and already in a difficult situation, when with friends I've never even won prizes. Maybe a coincidence but I do not think so.

After we come to consensus, we get to play more focused and quiet, when you have someone to share experiences with, that's good too, because it comes up with simple conclusions that stay in the mind, an example of how to behave when you are first in a tournament , The idea is to manoter and use aggressiveness, it is notorious that few players take the risk to play with who has a hefty stack of chips.

What a dilemma! On one hand, it's nice to meet friends at the table, but on the other hand you are losing your focus socializing with them...You will have to find a way to stay focus, otherwise change your nickname if you are playing online or go to different casinos if you are a live player, and keep it to yourself, don't make new friends.

I can not concentrate if somebody makes noises near me too. I think it is impossible.

A good technique of concentration is to keep your eyes focused and think of the game as the players are making their moves
