The best master is your will

Confucius says: "A good student don't need a master". I'm not telling you that a coach won't help, I'm trying to explain to you that is your desire the one who is gonna make you stand out.
Good luck:)

well i believe a coach will always help , even if u can learn all that by yourself he can make u reach your top notch level faster and put u on the right track
sometimes i feel i am very confused and i have the material to be better just dont know what videos to watch first than how i master them and jump to the next level , i think coaching can save u alot alot of time

I try to get information from different sources and consider my game from outside, so I'm my own coach)) Well, in general, I think that no one would have given up on a good coach

I think a coach may be the option for people who play poker profesionally and found themselves in a spot where they are losing continously because of problems with mindset, or before big tournaments or in other stressful situations like these. If you only want to get better at poker there is plenty of material on the Internet and many books out there. Plenty of pros stream on twitch explaining their or others play. It seems pointless to me to pay a fortune for something you can easily find for free, because I don't suppose that coaching can reveal any knowledge you couldn't get elsewhere. It is just a matter of dedication, if you are serious about getting better than with a little digging you will find sources :)

I,m pretty sure, right now it,s really easy to find a good coach in poker. All you need to do - is just find some more information about the people who can teach you how to play poker. You can listen to the advices of some people, ask them about different coaches. Anyway, if you wish to save your money - you can find all the information in the books or video lessons. It is possible in our days, i,m sure in that.

As soon as the coach guarantees in writing, witnessed by a notary, that you will obtain a monthly 20% ROI or he/she will return all of your money plus 20% for wasting your time go for it. Otherwise go to the library and read good books

I would recommend Alexander ''Assassinato'' Fitzgerald as a coach. He has great results online and live and I know a couple of persons that trained with him and they got a lot better.

If you'd like to find a good coach you should look for someone in your casino that you think plays well and you see more often than not cashing out a winner. From there, you should offer to buy him dinner or drinks for a hour of his time in exchange for picking his brain about poker. If he seems to articulate his thoughts well, to the level where you think you could improve, then he may be worth paying for coaching. If he can not articulate well, or seems like he isn't the smartest, he may be a good poker player, but not a good coach. For some people it is really hard to say what they want to say, explain it, for others, its easy. A true genius is able to take very complex topics and explain them so well that even a common man can get it quickly.

Your best coach right now, for anyone asking this kind of question, is your peers. Post hands on CC, and answer posts on cardschat. When I first started playing, my two biggest things that helped me was posting on 2+2 (CC did not exist yet then), and joining an online chat group of players that were around the same level of play as me (some slightly higher, some slightly lower). Those two things catapulted my game forward and allowed me to win hundreds of thousands of dollars online.

And then when I could afford it, I hired one of the best cash game coach at the time (not cheap - $1250/hr). But it was worth it, and cut a lot of learning curve for me in the high stakes games.

So I think the best answer is you should utilize both, but if you're asking this question, start w/ the forums and your peers.

I taught myself on my mistakes a lot of what I've been through it all,and that learned person must pass a road test to delve into the matter I think so

Post your hands on here and people will be glad to help. other than that bonafide coaches are really only usefull if you play mefium to high stakes and hit a wall and cant find your own leaks or how to optimize your return in certain areas. for most of us though self tought and the internet are the way to go... use this community for all its worth there are so many outstanding players on here that are more than willing to give you tips!

I watch training videos and just talk with people who play well. I do not think that I need a coach because it's unlikely that my life will be connected with poker
