I believe the luck factor dictates that cards run hot to either the person or the seat . Two years ago I lost $3,200 in a pot limit game . I played for 24 hours straight and I played the best poker of my life . I even sat in 4 different seats in the course of that session, but not matter what I did, I was bad beat all nite long. I finally gave up, and quit that session , realizing there was no way I could break this bad luck run for that game on that night.
If I was smart, I woulda quit when I was down about $800 , but there was so much money on the table, it was a hard game to quit. One guy lost over $7,000 that same night. It was the single worst bad beat poker session I ever had in over 30 years of play.
