Appetite while playing

Is it better for me to eat a hearty meal before a long game so as not to be distracted during the game, especially when there are many tables? The main thing is that there is water.

For me is completely the opposite. When I'm playing poker I usually don't feel hungry and there were times I played for hours and didn't eat anything during the session.

Same - When I play online I get hungry and get uncomfortable after a couple of hours.

But live I can play all day without eating and not even feel hungry or even thirsty really.


Edit: Also, I think I would prefer not to eat because... Uhm... Well.... I hate going #2 in public bathrooms.

aaa, unfortunately, I smoke , so smoking kind of cuts off my appetite, so I don't have anything like that....
