I think the real reason why I got very mad is people were criticizing me and were trying to lecture me how to play poker after losing their chips to me. Everyone has their own style, own way of playing. People don't have right to tell others to play poker in their way. Yes, I donked out against asian man by hitting my overcards. My objective was to get him to fold since I suspected he had a very weak, marginal hand where most people would usually fold. It was a
bluff but I knew that it can be semi-bluff since I'm only 3:1 underdog from the flop if I get called. But when he lost, he couldn't stfu and kept criticized me to his wife in front of my face. And then for AK vs QQ, what was I suppose to do? Fold AK when everyone folded, it's heads up, I'm last to act and calling would only take about, uh, 1/4 of my chipstack? And for the old "retarded" lady, my purpose of reraising was to kick them out of the pot so I can go heads-up against the guy on my right so I can win. I didn't want to give them a chance to call because they might catch their cards on turn/river.
While I responded to them in a dickish manner, I honestly think they had no right to criticize me or insult me in front of my face. I do agree that I was being a dick but I couldn't just sit there and take verbal insults. I hope some of cardschat members can understand this. If not, then just try this once and then tell me. Imagine yourself in casino, you end up making a suckout, got lucky, donked out, won or whatever and then someone starts talking shit about you in front of your face. I'm pretty sure you wouldn't just sit there and be happy about it. Floorperson didn't kick me out or didn't care because I'm a regular and I dont' usually cause trouble.
Bottomline of this comment is, I was being a dick but I wouldn't have acted like one if they didn't insult me in first place or criticized my plays. This was my first time getting into major troubles in casino. I was wondering if anyone had similar experience or had/seen troubles in
casinos before. That was the main purpose of this thread.
