LarkMarlow
Legend
Silver Level
One thousand posts—whoosh—how time flies…seems like only yesterday I thought it would take forever to write 85 posts so I could apply to the Freeroll Club. I know, I know, the required number is 65 but I was sure at least 20 would not be considered "quality".
As is customary, I have been toying around with ideas for an essay to commemorate this landmark, along the lines of "How to Transform the Perils of Poker into Prowess" or "The More I Learn about Poker, the More I Realize How Much I Have Yet to Learn".
Thing is, that’s as far as I’ve gotten. Looks like I’ll be at this for a while…maybe "2001—a LarkMarlow Poker Odyssey".
As I was figuring out what to do instead, I went to back to the very beginning. In my introduction I wrote, "...Basically, I love everything about poker--the cards, the community, the culture". To me, CardsChat epitomizes all three and more.
I am so grateful to be a part of this dynamic group that I decided to host a Thank You tourney on pokerstars and add $30 to the prize pool.
Hope to see you all there, and good luck as always!
