No pair always makes me beat AA. I wish they did!

Statistically 66, 77 or 88 are the best to have when facing AA as they make the most straights that AA cannot. 88 is marginally the best of those.

They are easier to play from the point of view of losing fewer chips to AA than higher pocket pairs for the times we do lose too.

We will be in fewer 3 bet or 4 bet pots with them to begin with so we're playing smaller pots than if we had a larger pair.

We will also be in fewer situations where we have an overpair to the board, saving us from spewing off all our chips compared to if we had something like QQ, JJ or 10 10 when facing AA.

My favorite pair will always be:
AA - Allin preflop
KK - Allin preflop
QQ - 4-6 BB bet or raise
JJ - Fold
TT - Raise
99 - Allin preflop
the others call or bet.

Unfortunately, I don't have such a pair that would always bring me victory. And what's more, I think there are no such couples, you probably got the wrong impression. My favorite pocket pair is of course a pair of aces, although it is also not a guarantee of victory

I happen to love pockets 6's to be honest. It's a great hand. I either hit a set of love the minimum. So my real reason is it was the hand I had when I go 4 of a kind the 1st time. It also was something like 4 or the first 5 times I got 4 of a king was when holding pocked 6's.

More than a specific pair, the times I went against a pair of AAs I almost always won with pairs of 99, but I had greater success with 67 suited, winning 80% most of the time.
