Highest stakes for NL and PLO was $5/10 for me

I never seen money leave my hands so quickly before until I played PLO

Now I just stick to 1/3, 2/5 NL.. And 1/2, 2/2 PLO

They highest I've ever played is 1/2 live and 0.50/1 online. Neither of which ended too well unfortunately. I lost $150 live and I lost $100 at 0.50/1 when I ran AA into AA heads up and had villain hit his flush.

That was the day I learnt how important bankroll management was lol

Yes it effected me badly. I realized i had more to lose than i had to win. My highest was $25 or $22, i can't remember now. I almost made it to the bubble. I remember i had a lot of fun while playing the tournament so i don't regret playing.

I once played $10/$20 cash game online. Lost what I had won at the low stakes pretty quick. Somehow those $20 players were better than the $1/2 I had whooped on that night.

$110 is the largest tourney I've been in. Done it about 3 or 4 times at the local casino. haven't cashed yet, but came close.

Right there with you! I once played in an NL0.05/0.10 on accident and felt like I was playing with sharks at the time I was used to 0.01/0.02

Highest tournament buy in was 530$. First tournament like this was an experience but you easily get accustomed to the "more expensive" tournaments.
